The Obama Image: The Obama Man
Posted on January 21, 2009 in Political Savvy by beafields
Yesterday, the Inauguration was filled with millions of eyes, filled with hope. Today, the Obama “image” or “movement” will turn to focus on President Obama, the man.
I encourage all Americans to do your part. Get involved, be responsible and help out in any way you can. Volunteer, be resourceful, pay your bills and be a great citizen. It’s time for everyone to come together to create the change we have all been saying we want.
Just remember: President Obama is just one man, and he is going to need the help of many. Today, I invite you to take a long hard look in the mirror and ask yourself this question “What can I do on a personal level to help our country out, starting today?” Answer that question, and then go implement one action. If 50% of our country took one action today to help out, we can all get there together.

I agree. Change always comes in two parts. Someone initiates it. Then, others have to participate in it. This is not a time to be on the sideline waiting for someone else to take action and get things done. It is time to embrace the opportunity to make a difference and get busy doing it.

I agree. President Obama represents a new call to action of service and of citizenry. As Gandhi said, “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”
